Woodstown Rotary Foundation
An adjunct of the Rotary Club of Woodstown, administered by an independent Board of Directors for the purpose of doing good works in the Woodstown-Pilesgrove area.
The Woodstown Rotary Foundation has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a publicly supported organization, authorized to receive funds whose donors may deduct those contributions when preparing their income tax returns.
The funds contributed will be maintained, invested and used for purposes commensurate with the public good in the general area served by the club. The officers and members of the Foundation Board are separate and apart from the officers of the club.
The Foundation will use such contributions, proceeds from fund-raising activities and return on investments for a wide variety of charitable causes in the area.
Members of the Rotary Club of Woodstown, the general public and the Board of the Foundation will recommend projects worthy of consideration.
It is hoped that, as funds become available through the means suggested above and through the legacies and bequests and by other means, the work of the Foundation will take on increasing meaning and importance.
