Picnic in the Park "Free" Summer Concert Series continues on September 5th with the Avalon String Band.All Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. at Marlton Recreation Park on Marlton Road in Pilesgrove, New Jersey.2008 Summer Concert Schedule and Performers: 06/27/2008 - The Original Hobo Band 07/17/2008 - Salem American Legion Band 07/31/2008 - Tuesday Mountain Boys 08/21/2008 - John Mountain Band 09/05/2008 - Avalon String Band 
You are invited to bring a picnic supper at 5:30 p.m. Please bring your lawn chair or blanket for the concerts. Donations will be appreciated.Directions to Marlton Recreation Park: Follow Route 40 to Woodstown. Turn onto Route 45 North(North Main Street). Turn left onto Marlton Road (about 1/4 mile from Route 40). Marlton Park is about one mile from North Main Street. This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and Salem County Cultural & Heritage Commission. A special "Thank You" is extended to our Community Partners: Delaware River & Bay Authority, Borough of Woodstown, Township of Pilesgrove, Major Soundworks, Salem County Vocational Technical Schools, Woodstown Presbyterian Church, The Woman's Club of Woodstown, and Marlton Park Commission and Staff.
